The Conference on Implementation of the Afghanistan Food Security Programme (AFSP), is to be held in an online format on 14 November 2022. The Conference aims at assessing the AFSP implementation status after its mandate was provided to the Islamic Organization for Food Security by the Resolution adopted by the 17th Extraordinary Session of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Council of Foreign Ministers on the Situation in Afghanistan, held on 19 December 2021 in Islamabad, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. 

Participants will also deliberate on how the IOFS may diversify its projects within the AFSP and discuss the best approach for Member States to actively participate in providing the necessary support to Afghanistan.
