Pakistan Observer has written about statement by Vice Chancellor of University of Agriculture Faisalabad, Professor Iqrar Ahmad Khan noting that growth of agriculture yield contributes in eneabling food security and to satisfy increasing demand of population.

Realizing result-oriented programmes that support application of advanced agricultural equipment and technology that facilitate effectively utilize of per acre agriculture yield and promote developing of self-sufficient in food production of wheat and other crops.

Vice Chansellor emphasized gathering of farmers and organizing Wheat Grow Campaign events organized by University of Agriculture Faisalabad jointly with Agriculture Department Hafizabad that aids to raise awareness of latest agrisector trends, applying advanced agritech. He also highlighted that 40 percent population of the country suffering from undernourishment.
