Secretariat of IOFS discusses prospects of IOFS with First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs
On 25 November, a meeting was held between Secretariat of IOFS and First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Nuryshev at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During the meeting, sides exchanged views and discussed pressing issues of further development of the organization.
Director-General of IOFS informed about short-term and medium-term plans of IOFS, focusing on the agenda of the upcoming 4th Executive Board Meeting on 11-12 December. Mr. Baidaulet also spoke about prospects of creation of flagship strategic programs such as Grain Fund, Islamic Organization for Food Security, Database and others.

First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs confirmed the important role of IOFS and emphasized his support for all projects and development programs of IOFS.
According to Mr. Nuryshev, food security problems are of topical interest, especially in the Islamic world, which is why it is vital to cooperate closely with international organizations such as FAO, The Committee on World Food Security (CFS), World Food Programme and others.
