On July 1, 2022 Director General of the Islamic Organization for Food Security H.E. Mr. Yerlan A. Baidaulet participated in the international conference organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event titled "Republic of Kazakhstan in the modern system of international relations" was devoted to the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the diplomatic service of the hosting country with a ceremony of laying a "time capsule" with a message to future diplomats on the square of the MFA building.
The ceremony was attended by the leadership of the MFA, veterans of the diplomatic service of Kazakhstan, and strategic partners of the Ministry. IOFS Director General delivered an address during the session dedicated to the current issues of international relations. H.E. Mr. Yerlan A. Baidaulet noted significant achievements of Kazakh diplomacy over the years of independence marked by the strengthening of regional and global multi-vector foreign policy. It was also noted that the Organization of the Islamic Conference changed its name to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Islamic Organization for Food Security is nowadays getting a great support from its member countries, especially Kazakhstan and Saudi Arabia.
H.E. Mr. Yerlan A. Baidaulet emphasized IOFS’s indisputable role in ensuring sustainable food security in the member countries through socio-economic development and systematic promotion of investments related to agricultural production, as well as through enabling trade, science and technology.
