On 13 April 2022, the IOFS had a meeting with HE Mr. Dato' Syed Bakrif, Ambassador of Malaysia in Kazakhstan, Mr. Tan Sri Abu Kassim, Chairman of Koperasi Kebuniti Selangor Berhad, Mr Mohamad Nizar Bin Omar, Member of the Board of Koperasi Kebuniti Selangor Berhad, Mr Eddie Lee Chee Liang – Member of the Board of Koperasi Kebuniti Selangor Berhad, and Mr Mohammad Safaruddin, General Manager of Gransea Sdn. Bhd at the IOFS premises.
Koperasi Kebuniti Selangor Berhad is a state-owned holding, which combines a number of companies doing business in crops cultivation and agricultural production. Gransea Sdn. Bhd is a large fertilizer producer and trader. International IFPA signed Memorandums of Understanding with both Koperasi Kebuniti Selangor Berhad and Gransea Sdn. Bhd.
Gransea agreed with International IFPA on assistance with arranging fertilizers imports to Malaysia from IOC countries. Gransea is now discussing internally the terms and conditions of agency agreement with International IFPA.
