On February 4, 2022, H.E. Mr. Yerlan Baidaulet, the Director General of the Islamic Organization for Food Security (IOFS) participated in the roundtable named “Development of the processing agro-industrial complex: problems and prospects of the industry”.
The hybrid event brought together public officials, leading analysts and academicians, experts and participants of agro-industrial sectors to discuss problems of the processing industry of the agro-industrial complex, development of food safety efficiency, sanitary and preventive measures in the field of food production and processing, developing scientific research in the sphere of agroindustry, standardization, and certification of agri-food products.
His Excellency Mr. Yerlan Baidaulet, the Director General of the Islamic Organization for Food Security (IOFS) during presentation provided an overview of the key value proposition of IOFS with highlights of 16 programs under 5 pillars and mentioned the implementation of humanitarian, social, and economic strategic initiatives with essential impacts on national and regional food systems.
