Director General supervises Fundamentals & Practice of Partnership (Islamic) Business retraining program in Russia
On 2 October, 2019, a professional retraining program “Fundamentals and Practice of Partnership (Islamic) Business” was presented at the Faculty of Business and Further Education at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics (RUE). The program was developed jointly with the International Association of Islamic Business (IAIB). Mr. Yerlan Baidaulet, General Director of Islamic Organization for Food Security and an internationally recognized expert in Islamic Finance supervises the program.
Mr. Asali Asaliev, Vice Rector and Mr. Marat Kabaev, President of IAIB of RUE branches delivered the keynote speech. Mr. Baidaulet discussed mechanisms of a partnership economy, world and regional experience, and prospects of development of Islamic Business in Russia.
Mr. Ilyas Zaripov, Economic Sciences candidate, associate professor of RUE, Master of Islamic Finance and a member of a Work Group on partnership banking at Bank of Russia, commented on a demand for Islamic finance in Russia and discussed uniqueness of the new program.
Mr. Dinar Biktimirov, a business coach and an expert practitioner in Halal industry, spoke about leading a halal business in Russia.
The list of invited people included foreign guests from Iran, Syria and Kazakhstan, who expressed interest in business cooperation with RUE and praised the University, IAIB and Faculty of Business and Further Education for organizing the event.
