IOFS Director General interview on NiLE TV and meeting with ICARDA

Cairo 1 August 2021, HE Director General of IOFS has been interviewed by Dr. Tagreed Hussein, president of Nile TV International on the role of IOFS in achieving food security in member countries and especially in Egypt.

Director General of IOFS Mr. Yerlan A. Baidaulet briefed on the programs that touch important human needs such as producing safe, nutrition and enough food for everyone. The program is being broadcasted on 2 parts the first is tomorrow and next one on Monday will also cover how to strengthen the direct investment in agriculture.

On the same day evening, in light of continuous partnership with international organizations that cover OIC region, HE Director General of IOFS Yerlan A. Baidaulet met with HE Aly Abu Sabaa Director General of ICARDA (International Center on Agricultural Research in Dry Areas). The meeting extended to cover all cooperation programs specifically the development of strategic commodities, conserving genetic resources, transboundary pest control and management of water in agriculture. Both parties have then signed the Memorandum of Understanding and Action  Plan.
