The way how Islam Addresses Challenges of Sustainable Food Security
Millions face hunger, malnutrition, starvation, and death. More than 9 million people die every year of hunger and hunger-related diseases.  A child dies from hunger every 10 seconds. Poor nutrition and hunger are responsible for the death of 3.1 million children a year; that is nearly half of all deaths in children under the age of five worldwide.

What is hunger, how it spreads so fast and what concrete steps Islam offers to the world.
This material addresses these issues in more detail.
