On April 21, the representatives of IOFS headed by Dr. Ismail Abdelhamid, the Director of Programs and Projects had an online meeting with the professionals of the IsDB headed by Mr. Nur Abdi, Manager Agriculture Infrastructure Division at Global Practices, Economic and Social Infrastructure Department.
During the meeting the parties discussed significant recommendations of the Joint Working Team, namely major joint initiatives: 1) Development of essential food commodities 2) Agriculture trade finance and export insurance to promote intra-OIC trade and investment 3) South-south cooperation on technology transfer and halal industry.
Parties agreed to actively share information and jointly work on the implementation above-mentioned engagements.
