General Assembly: Delegation of Bangladesh

Mr. Yerlan Baidaulet, Director General of Islamic Organization for Food Security (IOFS) held a meeting with Minister of Food of Bangladesh, Sadhan Chandra Majumder on the sidelines of the IOFS General Assembly, held in Jeddah on August 29. Mr. Sadhan Chandra Majumder noted that Bangladesh was among the first countries to support the establishment of such an important international organization. Bangladesh is willing to support the young food aid organization further in both its institutional and developmental stages. The Minister also noted that Bangladesh is ready to provide the organization with human and technical resources.
Parties commented that the General Assembly made important decisions on plans of the IOFS.
The IOFS Director General thanked the Minister for warm words and expressed gratitude to Bangladesh for supporting activities of IOFS since the very beginning.
Mr. Baidaulet called on the Minister to share concepts and programs on food security of Bangladesh for further elaboration of bilateral strategic documents.
