On May 6, 2020, Director-General of IOFS Secretariat held a working meeting with Mr. Nurlan M. Mohammedzhanov, head of Analytical Centre of Economic Policy in Agro-industry LTD (which is a subsidiary company of NASEC). The company is a partner of an Italian company LATTANZIO Advisory S.p.A.
Previously, the IsDB allocated a grant of technical assistance to preliminarily research the institutional structure of IOFS. Such research was planned to be conducted by an acclaimed international consulting agency. Following the results of a competition, LATTANZIO Advisory S.p.A.(Italy) became a winner within a constortium together with Analytical Centre of Economic Policy in Agro-Industry (Kazakhstan).
The meeting participants discussed the main assignments of the Consultancy within their contract. Mr. Yerlan Baidaulet stressed the importance of the Consultancy’s focus on the programmes of IOFS, such as Grain Fund, Food Security Reserve, Strategic Commodities in OIC countries and others.
The research outcomes will be presented on another meeting of the Executive Board and Third General Assembly of IOFS.
