On the 2nd day of the ACMOI conference, all OIC institutions took part in working meetings of relevant committees.
Senior officials of IOFS participated at the ACMOI conference, where the head of the Executive Committee of OIC Mr. A. Musinov presented a final report on the results of 2-day work. He emphasized the importance and promptness of efforts of IOFS and the scale of its 2020 projects.
There were additional meetings held with the headship of ITFC, IsDB Global Partnerships and Resource Mobilization Unit, COMSTECH, OIC Humanitarian Affairs Department and others. Assistant Secretary-General of OIC Mr. Musinov expressed his support for IOFS activities and called for close collaboration within OIC and Science & Technology Agenda 2026.
To conclude the general meeting, Secretary-General of OIC Mr. Yousef bin Ahmad Al-Othaimeen personally spoke to senior officials of IOFS, where Director-General congratulated OIC with 50th anniversary and presented flagship programs of IOFS for 2020-2022.
Secretary-General of OIC assured IOFS in his full support of all of the IOFS programs in the resolution of food security issues in the Islamic world.
One of the nearest IOFS events was suggested to be held in OIC headquarters.
