Astana, Kazakhstan – 15 January 2025 – The Islamic Organization for Food Security (IOFS) hosted a meeting with Baiterek Holding to discuss collaborative efforts to address food security challenges and strengthen partnerships. The meeting was led by Assistant Director-General Ambassador Khusrav Noziri on behalf of IOFS, while Baiterek Holding was represented by Mr. Timur Onzhanov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board.
Key topics included IOFS's flagship programs, such as the Afghanistan Food Security Program, and the African Food Security Initiative. Discussions also covered the IOFS Gene Bank Project, focusing on preserving crop biodiversity, and IOFS fund.
