Astana, Kazakhstan,16 August 2024 – The Financial Control Committee of the Islamic Organization for Food Security (IOFS), consisting of esteemed representatives from the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Tajikistan successfully concluded a series of comprehensive meetings held from August 14th to 16th. The sessions were convened to evaluate the organization's financial health and operational efficiency.
Throughout the three days, the committee was presented with detailed reports and presentations from all IOFS departments, providing an in-depth overview of the organization's financial activities and strategic initiatives.
A key highlight of the meeting was the presentation of the Financial Report by Mr. Safwan Alsaaideh, Chief Financial Officer of IOFS. The report was reviewed by the committee to ensure transparency and alignment with the organization's financial goals.
The Financial Control Committee conducted a thorough review of the financial office's work and its procedures, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity and accountability within IOFS.
Following the detailed assessments, the committee compiled their findings into a comprehensive report. This report has been submitted to Ambassador Berik Aryn, Director General of IOFS, who will present it to the Executive Board and the General Assembly for further deliberation and action.
