[Astana, Kazakhstan] – 15 February 2024 was the third day of the signing ceremony of the Tribute and Memorial book in honor of the late Ambassador Askar Mussinov, Director General of the Islamic Organization for Food Security (IOFS), which continue to witness a gathering of international dignitaries paying their respects.
The IOFS continues to express thanks and appreciations for the distinguished guests that came to offer their condolences and shared memories of Ambassador Mussinov's impactful leadership, including Their Excellencies Mr. Montasyr Abuzeid, the Ambassador of Palestine, serving as the Doyen, Mr. Alaaddin Lehwaik, the Ambassador of Libya, Mr. Kamel Fenniche, Ambassador of Algeria, Mr. Hamza Mahmoud Yousef Al-Omari, Ambassador of Jordan, and Mr. Ammar Albreiki, Deputy Head of Mission of the United Arab Emirates and Adviser at the Eurasian Development Bank Mr. Yerbol Shaimardanov.
Additionally, Mrs. Judy Kuo, Deputy Chief of Mission of the United States of America, and Ms. Michaela Friberg-Storey, the United Nations Resident Coordinator in Kazakhstan, joined the solemn occasion to honor Ambassador Mussinov's dedication to advancing food security and international collaboration.
