19 September 2024

A total of 16 tons of beef has been exported for the first time from the Turkestan region to Tajikistan. Earlier, an agreement was signed between "Qaiyp Ata" LLP and Tajikistan for the export of 110 tons of beef. Work under this agreement began in September. It should be noted that "Qaiyp Ata" LLP is making a significant contribution to enhancing the country's export potential. In 2023, the company exported 4,500 tons of beef to Uzbekistan and another 140 tons of lamb to Iran. This year, it plans to export 5,000 tons of beef. Since the beginning of the year, "Qaiyp Ata" LLP has already exported 2,945 tons of beef and 12 tons of lamb to Uzbekistan, as well as 118 tons of lamb to Iran. Additionally, "Qaiyp Ata" LLP plans to implement three major investment projects in collaboration with Australia. In particular, a feeding complex for 25,000 head of cattle will be built in the city of Arys in 2025. From 2025 to 2026, projects for the slaughter and processing of 1,500 head of cattle are planned in the Sayram region. It is noteworthy that the Turkestan region holds leading positions in the country for meat exports, accounting for 80% of exported beef and 75% of exported lamb.
