The International Strategic Center for Agri-Food Development (ISCAD) has announced the construction of four new agricultural machinery testing tracks, developed in collaboration with the Turkish firm Asya Ekonomi Yatırım Danışmanlığı Tarım ve Orman Ürünleri İnşaat Turizm Sanayi Ticaret Limited Şirketi, the Center for Certification and Testing of Agricultural Machinery and Technologies, and project staff. The new facilities include an artificial flat concrete track measuring 400 meters by 4 meters, designed to ISO 789-9 standards with a data collection system to measure traction power, noise levels, speed, fuel consumption, work efficiency, and wheel slippage. Additionally, a two-lane track with a 35-meter rough surface and a 100-meter smooth surface will evaluate vibration effects on operators and machinery according to ISO 5008:2002 and ISO 8041:2005 standards. The circular concrete track, with a 20-meter radius, will test trailers up to 29 tons as per ISO 798-9, focusing on the durability of undercarriages, hydraulic systems, cabin effects, and suspension components at speeds up to 15 km/h. These tracks are intended to enhance ISCAD's capacity to meet international accreditation standards, improve test quality, and ensure global compliance, ultimately supporting more precise and comprehensive testing of agricultural machinery for better performance and safety. Established by Presidential Decree No. PD-58 on December 22, 2021, ISCAD aims to improve governance and strategic oversight within Uzbekistan's agri-food sector, enhance policy coherence, and facilitate international cooperation and knowledge exchange.
