On September 6, 2024, Qozidavlat Qoimdodov, AKDN Resident Representative, and Aghasi Harutyunyan, FAO Representative in Tajikistan, met to discuss potential collaborations in Tajikistan's agricultural sector. They explored opportunities for integrating innovative methods to enhance the agro-industrial complex, focusing on areas such as agriculture, agrotourism, climate change adaptation, capacity building, and research development. Both AKDN and FAO bring extensive experience to the table, aiming to foster productive cooperation. The Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) is a global network of institutions dedicated to improving lives in developing countries, particularly in Asia and Africa, through social, cultural, and economic development initiatives.
