RIYADH: The Kingdom’s aid agency KSrelief has signed deals with authorities in Nigeria and Mali to provide water for local communities, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Tuesday. In Nigeria, teams will drill 21 medium-depth solar-powered wells in Abuja, Enugu, Kano, Osun, Oyo and Kaduna. The project is expected to benefit 105,000 people, and provide water for livestock. In Mali, drinking water will be provided for 372,304 people with the creation of several solar-powered wells. These projects are a part of KSrelief’s worldwide aid projects, which includes the provision of healthcare, education and sanitation.
