DEVELOPMENT OF COOPERATION WITH QATAR CONTINUES

On August 22, Director General of the Islamic Organization for Food Security, H.E. Mr. Yerlan Baidaulet held a meeting with the Director of the Food Security Department at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment of the State of Qatar, H.E. Mr. Masoud Jarallah Al-Marri.

IOFS Director General started the virtual meeting with welcoming H.E. Mr. Masoud Jarallah Almarri, and emphasizing the importance of the State of Qatar as a valuable full-fledged Member State. Furthermore, an overview of IOFS foundation was given as the OIC specialized institution, with brief discussion of IOFS Strategic Framework and IOFS Strategy 2031.

Director General was accompanied by Mr. Azamat Khamiyev, Program Manager, Mr. Sofian Ben Mouaddeb, Senior Country Officer, Mr. Baglan Naribek, Executive Assistant to Director General and Mr. Safwan Alsaaideh, Finance Manager.

In the end of the meeting, the two parties agreed to continue bilateral consultations on strengthening cooperation aimed at assuring the regular communication between entities.
