Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev during a two-day official visit to Jeddah held a meeting with the King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia. Sides discussed trade, economic and investment prospects of bilateral cooperation. Kazakhstani official stated about readyness to offer favorable conditions and a wide range of preferences for Saudi investors in various areas of mutual interest. Additionally parties discussed areas of increasing mutual trade turnover and agreed to intensify work in this direction.
Mohammed bin Salman highlighted the good level of relations between countries, he emphasized importance of strengthening agricultural sector and expressed the interest of Saudi companies to invest in the Kazakh agriculture sector. According to him, this area is of particular significance amid the global food crisis.
