English-language private media outlet of Azerbaijan News.Az published an article about creating a fund by the Azerbaijani government for food security announced by the country’s Finance Minister Samir Sharifov.
For this fund was allocated 193 million manat ($113.5 million) and Azerbaijani government aims to adopt several anti-inflationary measures. Among them government is planning to eliminate current customs duties and certain taxes on food products imported by Azerbaijan.
