Kazakhstan set to ensure food security

The article by Kazinform news site reports on the Agriculture Minister Yerbol Karashukeyev’s statement about the plans to ensure food security in Kazakhstan.
 
Initiated in response to the President’s task, the plan is designed to ensure country’s food security. It mainly encompasses state’s socioeconomic track in strengthening food safety.  
Minister emphasized significance of food security as crucial base for country’s national security. Article refers to the National Security Law and Law on state regulation of the agro-industrial development that indicated three main criteria for ensuring food security: people’s access to the food, its availability; economic availability of food that refers to people's ability to buy food; the latter is food security
