On November 27, 2020, the 47th meeting of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers, began in Niamey, which was opened by the President of the country, Mahamadou Issoufou.
As part of the current events, working meetings were held with the Vice President for Operations of the IDB Mansur Mukhtar, with the Executive Director of ICIC Professor Dr. Mohamed H. Elasbali, General Coordinator of the COMSTECH Secretariat Professor Dr. Mohammad Iqbal Chowdhary, Ambassador of Malaysia to the KSA H.E. Dato Abd Razak Abdul Wahab and with the Rector of the Islamic Technological University, Professor Dr. M. Rafikul Islam (structure of the OIC).
On the same day, IOFS Director General was received at his residence by the President of Niger, Yusuf Mohammadu. A discussion of issues of bilateral cooperation between the IOFS and Niger took place within the framework of the joint implementation of the strategic programs of the IOFS and the Presidential Program "3N Nigeriens nourish Nigeriens" to overcome poverty and hunger in the country.
