Director General meets Ambassador of Sultanate of Oman to Kazakhstan

On September 16, 2019, Director General of IOFS held a meeting with Ambassador of Sultanate of Oman to Kazakhstan Dr. Saeed bin Mohammed al-Barami.
During the meeting, Mr. Baidaulet presented the activities of the organization and discussed prospects of its development.
For his part, Dr. Saeed Mohammed Al-Barami stated that Oman attaches great importance to food security and pays close attention to the need to increasing in trade volume of agricultural products between Islamic countries. Kazakhstan and Oman have commercial and private relations in the agricultural field.
Dr. Saeed al-Barami affirmed that he would do his utmost to ensure that Sultanate of Oman would play an active role in food security issues. Oman is an important member of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and has national programs in food security. These resolutions demonstrate how important the organization is to Islamic Ummah.
It is worth mentioning that a delegation from Sultanate of Oman participated in the General Assembly of the Islamic Organization for Food Security held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
