IOFS and Kazakh Invest are to join forces with Malaysian investor

On September 10, a meeting was held between the Director-General of IOFS Mr. Yerlan Baidaulet and representatives of the National Company "Kazakh Invest" led by CEO Mr. Baurzhan Sartbayev, as well as the CEO of PNMB International Mr. Ahmad Syazali Abdul Khalil. The parties discussed prospects of relations with the Malaysian investor in order to support the agro-industry within the IFPA program.

The meeting started with the presentation of Mr. Ahmad Syazali on its projects:

- Halal Gelatin Plants: Gelatin is a natural source of protein, which contains a large number of essential amino acids. The world production of gelatin has increased by about 200,000 tons in the last decade. However, only 3% of this production is deemed Halal, which makes it a valuable composite for manufacturers of halal food;

-Food waste and Recycle: Deep processing of food waste for subsequent production of animal and fish feed;

- Fintech, Blockchain and Smart Card solutions to facilitate IFPA business modelling.

The parties agreed to cooperate closely with the National Company "Kazakh Invest" within the IFPA program to facilitate agro-related investment projects within the IOFS hosting country.
