The Kuwait Flour Mills and Bakeries KFMB Company announced that is keen to import wheat to ensure food security and wheat products sustainability such as flour and varied breads. Kuwait’s strategic stockpile of wheat amounted at 140.63 thousand tons which is increased comparing to the previous month.

KFMB stated that the flour is mainly imported from Canada and Australia at a rate of 489.03 thousand tons annually – Canada 87.53 thousand and Australia 401.50 thousand tons.
