On December 14, 2021, the Director General of the IOFS H.E. Yerlan A. Baidaulet met with the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Kazakhstan H.E. Mohammed Abdullah Al Bahrani.
H.E. Ambassador congratulated the Director General on the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
At the meeting, officials discussed previously held meetings with the Deputy Head of Mission of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Kazakhstan and Dr. Ahmed Al-Bakri Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries Wealth for Agriculture of the Sultanate of Oman. Also, both sides showed a desire to facilitate bilateral relations.
The Head of IOFS presented the existing 16 programs under 5 pillars, and told about the latest updates, such as the 10-year strategy of IOFS, as well as plans for the coming 2022.
Furthermore, H.E. Ambassador promised to assist in the appointment of a focal point, a national coordinator from Oman, and in arranging a working visit of IOFS delegation in 2022.
