Director General of IOFS meets Minister of Eurasian Economic Union

On 3 October, 2019 Director General of IOFS held a meeting with Minister of Eurasian Economic Commission on Agricultural Policy Mr. Alexander Subbotin in Moscow.
During the meeting sides exchanged views on establishment of partnership between the two international organizations, discussed possibilities of information exchange on food security and food security database of member countries of EAEU, OIC and IOFS.
Participants also expressed interest in promotion of food supplies in countries of Asia, Africa and Middle East in the context of implementation of humanitarian projects. Minister of EAEU expressed his willingness to cooperate in the context of food export to member countries of IOFS and attraction of investments.
Following the meeting sides have reached an agreement on signage of Memorandum of understanding. Director General Mr. Yerland Baidaulet invited the member of the Collegium of EAEU (Minister) to visit headquarters of IOFS in Nur-Sultan city.
EAEU Director of Department on Agricultural Policy Mr. S. Buben, Deputy Director A.B. Kusainova, Representative of Embassy of Kazakhstan in Russia G.A. Fasylova have been present at the meeting.
