On 21 February 2023, the IOFS delegation attended the second day of the 3rd Riyadh International Humanitarian Forum. On the sidelines of the forum the Director General of IOFS H.E Prof. Yerlan Baidaulet met with Mrs. Lisa Doughten Director of Humanitarian Financing and Resource Mobilization in United Nations OCHA, and with H.E Sultan Al Shamsi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, United Arab Emirates.
At the end of the day, a productive meeting was held with H.E Dr. Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, Adviser to the Royal Court and Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Centre (KSRelief). The sides exchanged views and prospects for strengthening an ongoing partnership and coordinating projects-based cooperation in field of food security for the Organization of Islamic Cooperation countries.
