On January 29, 2023, Director of the Food Security Department at the Ministry of Municipality in Qatar and Chairman of the Executive Board of IOFS, Dr. Masoud Jarallah Al-Marri, received IOFS Director General H.E. Prof. Yerlan A. Baidaulet. The parties discussed a wide range of issues related to the outcomes of the IOFS programs and projects since their last meeting.

IOFS Director General H.E. Prof. Yerlan A. Baidaulet extended his appreciation for the warm hospitality of Qatar and provided brief information on the IOFS Fund and the upcoming activities of the organization. 

Dr. Masoud Jarallah Al-Marri, in turn, welcomed H.E. Prof. Yerlan A. Baidaulet and expressed appreciation for the visit of the IOFS delegation, as well as for the significant effort the IOFS has made and elaborated on the plans of the Ministry for the upcoming 6th General Assembly. 

Furthermore, the Director General of IOFS H.E. Prof. Yerlan A. Baidaulet had a meeting with the CEO of the Widam Food Company, H.E. Al-Nubi Al-Marri. The parties discussed deepening partnership and strategic cooperation to implement targeted projects in sphere of food security, particularly in the implementation of the IOFS Sheep Farming Fund, where Widam Food can join as one of the main participants of the project.
