Federal Minister for Science and Technology Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui visited the Pakistan Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (PCSIR) Laboratories Complex, emphasizing the crucial role of higher education, particularly in biotechnology and artificial intelligence, to address the country's financial and social challenges. He highlighted the need to prepare the youth for the evolving technological landscape and announced government plans for their education, including IT training courses.

Dr. Siddiqui addressed concerns of delayed salaries for PCSIR employees, ensuring prompt disbursement and promising to address the institution's shortage of manpower. During his visit, he received briefings on ongoing projects and future plans, expressing keen interest in initiating new endeavors and touring scientific centers within the complex.
