Meeting with the Minister of Agriculture of Brunei identified the priority areas for further cooperation and boost of partnership. Perspectives of local agriculture with 1% of the overall GDP (planned to increase to 4%), aimed at the use of the most advanced technologies and innovations (as in Singapore), were discussed. Peculiarities of such small oil-producing countries as Brunei, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar were advised to be taken into account along with organization of joint events to strengthen food security.
