IOFS MEETING AT THE MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE AND LAND RECLAMATION OF EGYPT

On February 24, 2022 Ambassador Daulet Yemberdiyev, Director of the Cooperation and Protocol Office of the IOFS conducted a working meeting with Supervisor of Foreign agricultural relations of the Ministry of Agriculture and Land reclamation of Egypt, Dr. Saad Moussa.
Officials at the meeting expressed their strong willingness to organize the fifth session of the IOFS General Assembly scheduled for the current year in Egypt, emphasizing the international standing of the event that will be reflected in the comprehensive international agenda of Egypt in 2022, particularly in the number of events such as 27th session of the UN Climate change conference 2022 of the Parties (COP 27), the 34th edition of the International Agricultural Exhibition for Africa and the Middle East - SAHARA Expo 2022, IsDB General Assembly, and Cairo Water Week.
Mr.Daulet Yemberdiev remarked that IOFS is keen to consolidate its efforts with the Egypt Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation to organize bespoke agricultural side events during the 5th General Assembly and SAHARA Expo on September, 2022 highlighting main strategies of the ‘2022 IOFS Year of Africa’ implementation plan.
