During the second day of his visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt, corresponding to February 23, 2022 Ambassador Daulet Yemberdiyev, Director of the Cooperation and Protocol Office at IOFS, met with Dr. Amna El-Sayed, Head of the Planning Sector at the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The two sides have discussed and examined actual bilateral cooperation and ways and means to strengthening it in the future. During the meeting Mr.Daulet Yemberdiyev has emphasized the importance that the IOFS attaches to the water and irrigation sector, as one of the important points in the organization’s strategic framework.
On her side Dr. El-Sayed, pointed out the importance that the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation accords to establishing close and fruitful bilateral cooperation, and also stated that the Ministry will invite the Organization to participate in the activities of the Cairo Water Week 2022 to be held next October. On this occasion the two sides discussed the possibility of organizing Conferences and workshops in the field of integrated management of water resources.
