The Director-General of IOFS, H.E. Yerlan Baidaulet had yet another eventful day of meetings in Doha, where he was accompanied by Kazakhstan's Ambassador to Qatar, H.E. Arman Isagaliyev, the Rector of the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University Mr. Tlektes Yespolov, and Mr. Safwan Alsaaideh, the IOFS Financial Manager.

The Head of IOFS Secretariat started his day with the meeting of the CEO of the Hassad Food Company, H.E. Mohamed Badr Hashem Al-Sada at the company’s headquarters. The parties discussed potential areas of collaboration and stressed the importance of global efforts to build a sustainable food security system.
H.E. Yerlan Baidaulet and the delegations also had a good meeting with the CEO of Investment Promotion Agency Qatar (IPA Qatar), H.E. Sheikh Ali Alwaleed Al-Thani, where they discussed cooperation between IFPA and the IPA Qatar.

Following the meeting, the sides agreed to start a joint working team, sign a Memorandum of Understanding, and adopt a Joint Action Plan.

H.E. Yerlan Baidaulet and delegations ended their heavy day's schedule with a fruitful meeting with the Executive Director of Global Dryland Alliance (GDA), H.E. Bader Al Dafa, with whom they agreed to start the procedures of signing a Memorandum of Understanding and Joint Action Plan.
At the end of the working day, the delegation was invited to a business lunch hosted by the Ministry of Municipality and Environment.
