President of Kazakhstan emphasized the role of IOFS in the Kazakh-Kuwaiti relationship

Mr. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev's second day in Munchen started with a meeting with Prime Minister of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Khaled al-Khamad as-Sabah, says zakon.kz citing Aqorda.
Noting the positive character and dynamic relationship between the states, the President of Kazakhstan took notice of the untapped potential for mutual collaboration in bilateral and multilateral formats. 

- We are good partners within the Organisation for Islamic Cooperation. The IOFS is headquartered in Nur-Sultan, capital of Kazakhstan, which can further boost our cooperation, - said the head of the state.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed his gratitude to the government of Kuwait for the airbase aid in "Jysan" humanitarian operation in January 2019. 

The head of the state also noted the immense potential of economic cooperation between the countries, especially in the industries of construction, agriculture, finance, investments, and tourism. 
The Prime Minister of Kuwait praised perspectives of strong ties with Kazakhstan. 
- There's much potential for partnership in trade and economy, investments, cultural, humanitarian, and touristic domains, - notes the head of the Kuwaitian state. 

Sheikh Sabah Khaled al-Khamad as-Sabah marked that the inter-state committee for trade and economic collaboration ought to solve important tasks. He expressed hope that the forthcoming 4th committee session would generate new solutions that would bring the Kazakh-Kuwaiti relationship to a new level. 

At the end of the meeting, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev invited the Prime Minister of Kuwait to visit Kazakhstan.
