MANAFI OF IOFS TALKS ABOUT THE PLIGHT OF FOOD SECURITY & ROLE OF MUSLIM YOUTH

‘The Dayspring’ Pakistan’s major youth-centric news platform published an interview with Mr. Abdula Manafi Mutualo, Senior Liaison Officer “Islamic Organization for Food Security” (IOFS) during his participation on “Youth Forum on Biotechnology” in Islamabad, Pakistan in mid-September 2022.

The article briefed about the history of establishment of IOFS that started its function in 2017 after the ratification of member states and currently IOFS consists of 37 Member States out of 57 that are Members to the OIC, 14 of which ratified the Statute.
 
Regarding “Kazakhstan-Pakistan-Turkiye Youth Forum on Biotechnology” three-day event Abdula Manafi noted that Muslim countries possess necessary knowledge and technology in the sphere of food security, but countries need to seek closer cooperation to explore better solutions in cost-effective technologies and sustainable growth.
