On November 1, 2019, Deputy Director General of IOFS Amb. Hameed Opeloyeru and Country & Program Manager Mr. Faraj Ahmed held a meeting with the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Dr. Mohammed Al Jaber.
During the meeting, parties discussed issues of collaboration and food security in member states of IOFS, particularly, in the United Arab Emirates. Parties have also discussed activities of the Organization and prospects of development, including the leading role played by the United Arab Emirates. UAE is an important member of the Organization for Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and has national programs in food security.
