On March 29, 2022, a meeting of the Islamic Organization for Food Security (IOFS), National Agrarian Science Educational Center (NASEC) with “Atyab International Services” represented by Mr. Mohib Ahmed Khan (Sultanate of Oman) was held at the NASEC premises. The IOFS was represented by Dr. Ismail Abdelhamid, IOFS Director of Programmes and Projects Office, Mr. Daulet Yemberdiyev, IOFS Director of Cooperation and Protocol Office, along with Ms. Raushan Kumekbayeva, IOFS Manager Coordinator of Programs and Projects.
The meeting was hosted by Ms Gulmira Isaeva, Chairman of the Board of NASEC.
“Atyab International Services” is an international semi-governmental organization that provides services for testing, inspection, and certification of products in food industry.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of cooperation on the management, production, storage, promotion of halal and organic foods, as well as their export. Plans to launch joint research and investment projects in the field of agro-industrial complex, as well as training programs, were also discussed.
Following the meeting, parties agreed on the development of cooperation in the field of education, science, and food security, and expressed willingness to sign a Memorandum of Understanding between IOFS, NASEC and “Atyab International Services”.
