On 10 March 2022, a Team of the Islamic Organization for Food Security (IOFS) composed by Ambassador Daulet Yemberdiev, Director of Cooperation & Protocol Office, Mr. Safwan Alsaadeh, Chief Finance Officer, and Mr. Abdula Manafi Mutualo, Senior Liaison Officer, were received by Mr. Ammar Albreiki, Charge d’Affaires at the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Nur-Sultan, to exchange views of common interest in relation to the important and generous support the country provides to the Organization.
The salient point of the exchanges was the request of IOFS for the UAE to consider ways and means to include the Afghanistan Food Security Programme (AFSP) as one of their priorities so as to study the possibility of rendering a helping hand for the successful implementation of the aforesaid Programme.
