Kazakhstan to channel over KZT 200 bln to ensure food security

Kazakh international news agency Kazinform broadcasted news on the Vice Minister of Finance of Kazakhstan Tatiana Saveliyeva’s official announcement about funds allocation for food safety of the country. Through supply of qualitative goods and safe products Government of Kazakhstan plans to ensure country’s food security noted the Vice Minister during her speech at the presentation of the draft laws on amendments to the Republican Budget laws on 2022-2024.
 
Implementation of Food security policies requires subsidies for agricultural producers that government aims to increase to KZT 139 bln, which will include also subsidies for social bread and eggs. Another aspect of food security ensuring measures related to the encouraging of concessional lending of spring sowing and harvesting from KZT 70 to KZT 140 bln and building of fodder supplies to accommodate domestic supply in feed stock.
